1. Introduction
Welcome to LYRA Journeys. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our services and the contractual relationship between you and LYRA Journeys. By booking a journey with us, you agree to these terms, which ensure transparency and mutual trust.
2. Scope of Services
LYRA Journeys specializes in curated slow travel experiences across the Nordic region. Our services include bespoke itinerary planning, premium accommodation coordination, restorative nature experiences, and seamless ground logistics.
3. Booking and Payment
A booking is confirmed upon receipt of a non-refundable deposit. The full balance is due 60 days before the journey starts. Payments can be made via secure bank transfer or major international credit cards.
4. Changes and Cancellations
Cancellations more than 90 days prior to departure qualify for a partial refund minus administrative fees. Within 60 days, all payments are non-refundable. We recommend travel insurance to cover unexpected health or personal issues.
5. Traveler Responsibilities
Travelers must provide accurate documentation and disclose any relevant medical or dietary needs. We expect all guests to respect local Nordic customs, private properties, and the delicate natural environments we visit.
6. Health and Safety
Travelers must ensure they are in suitable physical condition for the activities planned. LYRA Journeys reserves the right to remove a guest from specific activities if their safety or the safety of the group is at risk.
7. Travel Documents and Insurance
A valid passport remains the traveler's responsibility. Comprehensive travel and medical insurance is mandatory for all LYRA Journeys to ensure protection against disruptions and emergencies.
8. Liability and Limitations
LYRA Journeys acts as an agent for boutique hotels and third-party guides. We are not responsible for injuries or losses occurring due to third-party negligence, civil unrest, or force majeure events.
9. Intellectual Property
All itinerary designs, brand assets, and creative content presented by LYRA Journeys are our intellectual property. Unauthorized commercial use of these materials is strictly prohibited.
10. Governing Law and Disputes
These terms shall be governed by the laws of Norway. We prioritize amicable dispute resolution, but any formal claims will be handled in the Norwegian court system.
11. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at our discretion. Significant updates will be communicated clearly to current travelers via their registered contact methods.
